Conceived in May of 2003, effective February 1, 2006 , I launched an anthology project called “Musicians Through Chicago.”
Goals & Objectives:
The project is to photograph well known Musicians and their sidemen – regional, national and international – represented by, visiting and/or playing Chicago Clubs, Theaters, Orchestra Halls, etc. The music genre encompasses Jazz & Blues.
It is my objective to bring to light, through biography and portraiture, the value of artists, the importance of Chicago as an art / musical center, and the significant contributions that Chicago Clubs and owners/managers and institutions have made and continue to make to public awareness and definition of music.
